Statement

My book works explore visual language in reinterpreting literature through drawing, layering, obliteration and fading of text and image.   My writing hands are experimental as I search for a new way of representing myth and poetry.   "Smoke" is from a series on the myth of Eurydice in which "she disappeared like smoke into thin air."   "Earth Light" is based on the poem "Genesis" by Lorna Crozier which explores what is underneath all living things.
