StatementI am a curious poet and artist working in a variety of mediums. My art making/writing is focused on witnessing and exploring the landscapes around me, inside and out. I use layering and abstraction with mixed media and in poetry to explore concepts of what it is to remember, observe and process.
While the physical landscape remains a large influence, my personal landscape, involving my mother's disappearance into dementia, has had a profound effect on my thoughts about memory.
