This work grew out of engagement in UVic’s Anti-Violence Project’s Understanding Consent Culture Workshop in collaboration with Caroline Boileau. Developing boundaries helps us set guidelines for how we want to interact with others and creates space for engagement in self and community care. Visitors are invited to playfully engage with these blocks, which contain drawings from previous visitors, creating their own boundaries. Through this, visitors will create new palimpsests of meaning.

On blocks created out of repurposed wood, using permanent and acrylic markers, participants drew and wrote about their thoughts regarding boundaries in relationships.
