Cross Cultures was entirely imagined without any visual references. My intent was to depict a story of a first meeting between two entirely unique and different people. What would it have been like? What did they have in common? Their physical surroundings…. Motherhood…. Where did they differ? Their costumes, their clothing…. Did they see things clearly? One has eyes to see, while others do not…. This story has repeated itself around the world over time and is important to reflect on.
